Shanta Wehrli is a dedicated and experienced Registered Massage Therapist with a strong background in fitness, rehabilitation, and holistic wellness. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and spent many years working as a personal trainer and fitness instructor before transitioning into massage therapy to focus on rehabilitation and injury recovery.
Shanta graduated from the Advanced Massage Therapy program through Mohawk College and McMaster University (“Mo Mac”) and has since gained extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients. Her professional background includes working with the Hamilton Bulldogs hockey team, patients recovering from knee and hip replacements, individuals in palliative care, and those seeking general wellness and pain relief. She also valued her time as an RMT at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, where she supported patients in their recovery journeys.
Shanta takes a collaborative approach to treatment, working closely with active individuals who are committed to improving their health and well-being. Her specialized skills include Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) stretching, trigger point release, Hot Stone Massage, Cupping Massage, and Hot Oil Scalp Massage. She believes in the body’s innate ability to heal and strives to facilitate that process through personalized care.
Beyond massage therapy, Shanta is passionate about mindfulness and movement. She teaches meditation and yoga and enjoys hiking the Bruce Trail with her husband and dogs, embracing the restorative power of nature.
